Think you had a lot of choices in the primary elections in June? There’s even more on the November 8 general election ballot.

In addition to choosing candidates for state office, the state legislature, and Congress and deciding the fate of statewide ballot measures, voters in Riverside County must also decide who holds seats on school boards, municipal councils and the boards of other local public bodies.

Here’s a partial look at who’s showing up in Riverside County in November, now that the Friday, August 12 filing deadline has passed. Uncontested races are not included. The application deadline was extended in some races because the incumbent did not file by 5 p.m. Friday.
