Final nominations are underway for trustee positions for Elk Island’s public and Catholic school boards ahead of the municipal election on Monday, October 18. their acclaimed candidates.
On the Public School Ballot (PSB), seven candidates will compete for three positions at Sherwood Park – Cathy Allen, David Basisty, Trina Boymook, Sharon Gach, Annette Hubick, Don Irwin and Tamara Peters.
For the lands north of Secondary Road 630, Electoral Subdivision # 3, Susan Miller and Lynnaca Rawlings will compete for a place, while Jason Milne and Jim Seutter will do the same for the lands south of Secondary Road 630, electoral subdivision n ° 4.
Malori Howe, Sarah Murphy, Jacqueline Shotbolt and Ralph Sorochan will face off for two spots at Fort Saskatchewan.
Colleen Holowaychuk (Lamont) and Randy Footz (Minburn) run unopposed and are therefore cheered.
On the Catholic (EICS) side of the ledger, in Electoral Subdivision 1 of Sherwood Park are Jean R. Boisvert, Le-Ann Pauline Ewaskiw, Ted Paszek, Don Marceau and Dean Sarnecki.
Shelley Charchun and Ron Baier are on the ballot for Camrose, while Teresa Makowecki was cheered for Vegreville and Al Stewart is also unopposed at Fort Saskatchewan.
