East Hills Trustees Announce Return of New Resident Brunch – News

Along with updates on the planned summer, Labor Day and Halloween celebrations, the East Hills Board of Directors announced the return of brunch for its new residents at a meeting of directors.
The village will host brunches on November 6, 13 and 20. Residents who have moved to the community within the last three years will be invited.
Mayor Michael Koblenz said the opportunity gives newcomers a chance to learn more about their community. He jokingly added that it also allowed them to share both their complaints and their compliments.
It will be the first time the village has hosted the event since before the Covid-19 pandemic. The council also shared information about other events that took place before that date.
An endless summer celebration will take place in the village on August 27 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
A juggler and stilt walker will perform around the village pool from 1 to 1:30 p.m. A circus-style air show will begin at 1:30 p.m. There will also be food and games for the children. The rainy date will be August 28.
On September 3, East Hills will hold their Labor Day Concert from 1-4 p.m. The group Wonderous Stories will perform.
The Village Halloween Spooktacular will take place on October 15, from noon to 4 p.m. There will be a special activity where kids can interact and learn from their favorite superheroes as they venture down the village park trail. October 27 is the catch-up date.
The next board meeting will be September 22 at 5:30 p.m. at the Village Hall.
